Connecting Hearts, Changing Lives

Together We Make a Difference

WELCOME TO CHAPLAINS ON THE WAY

Chaplains on the Way believes that no person experiencing homelessness in Waltham should feel they have to walk alone. We live out our mission by building trusting relations with those experiencing homelessness, living in deep poverty, and dealing with mental health and/or substance use challenges. We provide a ministry of spiritual care, listening, community building and companionship through life’s struggles and triumphs.

TESTIMONIALS

I have nothing but admiration for COTW's work in the Waltham community. I've witnessed them help organize WCLG's first housing summit earlier this year. I've eaten with them at their community cookouts. I've organized with them alongside Waltham Inclusive Neighborhoods at GBIO's statewide rally for housing justice. At all of these times, COTW has centered the needs of our unhoused neighbors and elevated their voices. Through them I have come to know many of our unhoused neighbors who also love and appreciate COTW's work. COTW pours an incredible amount of good into the Waltham community, and am so excited to see this good work carried further on through a well-funded winter breakfast program. I know of no other group who would more effectively and compassionately provide shelter, food, and connection to our unhoused neighbors during a time when no other option is available to them.
